I stayed home for half a day today...could get out at lunchtime to go to work. The morning was spent helping Lance install our new microwave. And Champion Windows came back out to replace one of our sashes and a screen. So I had to keep Reece occupied.
Work was ok. Kind of slow in the afternoon.
Came home to a ham in the oven. Warmed up some four cheese pasta, carrots (which I glazed with brown sugar and butter), baked some butterflake rolls and Lance cubed some cheese. A quickly put together but still very delicious dinner. We just have ham for a million years.
Suggestions for the ham bone? Besides ham and bean soup?
We're now watching White Christmas. I polished off a bottle of wine and we had some cheesecake for dessert.
I still need to send a gift certificate to my brother. A package came from him in the mail today, and I planned on getting him a gift anyway, but we generally give gift cards. Email gift cards, so we can do them last minute.
Reece is kind of crazy and restless right now. She's been driving me nuts all evening, getting in my way in the kitchen and now she wants to play.
It's still above freezing right now, so hopefully we'll have a lot less snow tomorrow.
