Today has been a frenzy of activity, and I'm glad that the weather has been more tolerable. It's 82 now...about the same temperature in the house, oddly enough. But I think I'll be able to open the windows soon and start cooling things down.
Lance got up at 5 today because he had his PT test at 6. So he was doing that for 2 hours. He came home, showered and changed, and headed off to work. I took care of day job stuff and gave Reece some play time.
Lance came home from work around 3:30, did some really quick chores that I needed him to do, and then headed back up to work to finish a last-minute task that needs to be done tonight (or else he has to do it over the weekend, when his sister is here).
So he's at the office until it's time to pick her up at the airport. And I'm at home alone again. But I have to finish cleaning. I cleaned the guest bath already and I started vacuuming. I need to finish cleaning the floors and clean our master bath and do a load of laundry. And a quick kitchen clean-up and then everything will be ready.
And I need to get Reece out for a walk. She's going to be insanely hyper when Kim shows up, so I need to try and burn off some of that energy before Lance gets back from the airport with her.
If I have time, I really could use a pedicure. I also need my bangs trimmed, but that requires a quick trip to the salon and Lance has my car, so it'll just have to wait.
Sigga will be stopping by in less than an hour to drop off one of my pillow shams that she's been working on. She made me 4 custom pillow shams and had a problem with one of them. I have the other 3 already. Hopefully she won't have any trouble finding my house.
I don't even know why I'm hanging out right now on LJ. I should be getting stuff done.
