It's actually pleasant today, despite the forecast calling for rain. I just got back from a walk. This is how summer should be, although maybe a few degrees warmer and with a little less breeze. It's about 70 degrees right now.

It's supposed to get ridiculously hot in Ohio right before I am scheduled to arrive. Go figure. But hey, I wanted summer weather, didn't I?

Today has been kind of a lazy Sunday. I actually slept in, which is unusual for me. Had my usual berries, yogurt and granola parfait with some tea. Although I can't say that a strawberry and blueberry mixture tastes very good with pineapple flavored yogurt.

Did a workout. This is the first time I could use weights since I got those shots in my arms on Thursday. I don't feel the soreness anymore.

Worked some more on my writing project. I now have one section and the introduction left to write, so it'll get finished tomorrow.

Read more of The Virgin Suicides.

Took a nap.

Made Nacho Skillet for dinner, which consisted of a box of Rice a Roni (Spanish flavor, since the commissary didn't carry Mexican), half a pound of ground beef, one cup of corn, one cup of black beans, one cup of cheese (cheddar and co-jack), and about half a cup of sour cream. And I put salsa on mine. It was pretty tasty, although probably very high in sodium (and probably pretty high in fat too, although I tried to cut back on that wherever it was possible). Lance says I can make it again.

Just doing easy dinners this week, except when I make my fancy macaroni and cheese for Lance's birthday dinner on Wednesday, and even that isn't difficult to do. I just have too much else to focus on this week, between trying to get writing projects finished, cleaning the house, packing and everything else.

I asked my mom to cut today's Get Fuzzy out of the comics for me. I must have it to hang on my fridge. It is absolutely hilarious.

Yes, I know...I'm a geek. Duh.
