Quiet Day
It's been a fairly quiet day. The only time I left the house was to go to the gym this morning.
Otherwise, I had some light housework to do, which included vacuuming and mopping. And I needed to iron some clothes (I successfully re-creased my pants this time. Huzzah).
It alternated between pouring rain and blaring sun all day. But today was a day for staying in with a book.
I finished The Memoirs of Helen of Troy, which I only started Thursday morning. I read the bulk of it today...over 200 pages.
Obviously I enjoyed it.
I also typed up a review of A Choice of Shakespeare's Verse.
In about half an hour, I'm going to snuggle into bed and turn on PBS to watch the conclusion of Sense & Sensibility. Afterwards, sleep.
Lance nearly brought me to tears today. He texted, "I miss you. Want to come home." I couldn't have said it better myself...I miss him too and I want him here with me. Very very badly. I'm struggling with some things right now and I need some comfort that I can only get from him.
