Poor Knut.

How horrible.

My heart goes out to the entire staff at the Berlin Zoo. It's an incredible zoo and my happiest memory of my 2 visits there was seeing baby Knut playing with his Papa Thomas.

This is heartbreaking.

Another article stated that he had been seriously ill for some time.

I read that last night. Poor guy, I wonder what happened.

I suppose the official cause of death will be revealed in time. For now, some of the news reports are saying that he had been battling a serious illness.
