It's cold enough to snow right now.

And it's not much warmer in the house.

This is why we need new windows, folks. I had finally gotten comfy and toasty in bed (it usually takes awhile...I have to bundle up and put on thick socks, but eventually I get warm enough under the covers and take them off). Reece woke me up at 4 to go out, and she took ages. By the time I got back to bed, the sheets were cold again, and I tossed and turned and shivered for the next hour and a half until the alarm went off.

At least it's supposed to be in the low-mid 60's today. We shall see.

It must be a little bit colder a little bit further north. It got 77 here today. The morning was cooler than usual but I still wore capris and flip flops to work.

Believe it or not, I am jealous. We're still using A/C full time here in Texas. I'm ready for another season that is not summer!
