Home Again

I feel a bit better today, but the infection has migrated from my throat up into my sinuses. I have a nasty cough, though. I'm really congested and I was awake for a good chunk of the night feeling feverish and headachy.

So...off work again.

But I have enough to keep me occupied today. Although I have to pull out the vacuum cleaner because Reece dragged in a bunch of mud last night. And I'm cooking up a big pot of chili for dinner, but I'll probably just brown the ground beef and then dump that with everything else into the slow cooker.

I am supposed to be taking it easy, after all.

Hope you feel better soon! Chili sounds real good!

Thanks. Having the Zithromax helps.

I make a sweet chili. Lance isn't into spicy foods. I found a great recipe a few years back and he loves it with pasta.

So, yesterday I was reading about a few LJ friends catching a cold & thinking, "I'm so glad that's not me. I'd hate to catch a cold now when we're having such amazing 70 degree weather & nothing but sunshine and fall color's popping up everywhere." Then at 5 am, I woke up feeling like total crap. I was hoping it was just allergies, but nope. I've got a cold now. I guess that's what I get for speaking too early, lol. Anyway, I'm glad you're feeling somewhat better. Hopefully it doesn't stick around for long.

At this point, I can only aspire to have a cold. What I have now is worse than that, but I think the worst symptoms will subside by tomorrow and I'll just end up with cold symptoms left.

I hope you feel better.
