The Castle Stone paint color isn't going to work. I painted spots on several walls and it's not anything like the color on the color card. It's a rich golden honey color. Beautiful, but doesn't particularly coordinate with our furniture or carpet.
So...I guess we're back to the Creme Brulee. But I should probably get a sample of that color too.
This is why you should always sample the color before painting the entire wall. We would've went through huge amounts of time and expense for a color we would've hated. And I still have quite a bit left in the sample jar. Not sure what to do with that.
I had a hair appointment earlier, and I'm discovering that a flat iron would be a handy thing to have. I'm very low maintenance when it comes to my hair, but I also hate those mornings when it seems to be sticking out in every which direction, as it's wont to do. So my stylist recommended a flat iron and she told me not to spend a ton of money on it...a $20 one is perfectly fine for my purposes.
So I got the cheapest one at Target - $14. Got a bunch of other stuff at Target too, particularly a new purse, which I needed. Still looking for a new pair of walking/running around shoes. The ones I have currently have seen better days.
We're waiting on a pizza (free! Because Papa John's pissed us off once and they sent a coupon for a free pizza to apologize). Lance has on the OSU-Minnesota game.
Just going to hang out the rest of the day. Don't have any reason to go anywhere. And we're looking out for Reece. I took her for a walk earlier and she came back and shook herself and splattered blood all over Lance. The sore on her ear burst open again and was bleeding. We had to pin her down so I could clean the wound, and she was actually really good about it. There was a blood blister that popped, so I picked off what was left of it and cleaned everything up really well and put Neosporin on it. Wondering if I should get some peroxide to pour over her ear, but I really don't think she would stand for that.
