(no subject)

I've been asked for business cards and/or PR materials...and until about 3 hours ago, I had nothing.

TA DA!

Quickie website:

Yeah yeah...it's not super professional.  I'm no web design genius or anything, and besides...it had to be quick.  How can I promote myself without a website?  And now that I have a client who wants to refer me to others...

Not super happy with the templates and stuff, but I'll work with it.  When I actually start making money, I will be able to afford a nicer website. Because frankly, after the argument Lance and I had earlier today about money, I'm not paying someone to design a site for me.  I'm more of a DIY person anyway.  I'll figure it out.

As for the business cards - my aunt already offered to design them for me.  I just needed to have a URL to give her first.  And now I have one.

Thanks for the webs.com suggestion. It's better for me to just do it myself since I can't afford to hire someone at the moment and Lance is busy...I don't feel right asking him to help me out. And I would be lost in a lot of HTML coding without their templates and stuff. So it works, for now.

When you decide to DIY, I can point out some good resources.

Moo Cards is a nice source - you can use your own photos to make the images: http://www.moo.com

My aunt already came up with a cool design I'm going to use. I just need to head over to Staples and get some blank business cards so I can print them out!

I do like that you can use your own photos for Moo Cards though...that way you can put a really personal stamp on it.

I got some moo cards a couple of years ago and I was quite happy with them.
