We went to the shelter today to check out the dog that Lance wanted to see. She was sleeping...the only dog there not barking and/or hurling itself against the crate door.

She seems sweet, but it's kind of hard to tell.

I just think getting a dog right now is a bad idea.

We took Reece for a fairly long walk and now Lance is cleaning up the clutter around the house. I'm doing laundry.

I'm watching VH1 Classic's "100 Greatest Songs of the '80s." It simultaneously rocks and makes me feel old. It was a bit disconcerting to hear that Michael Jackson is currently working on a new album. Although if anyone can do that from beyond the grave, he can. Tupac did it prolifically. (This show was made in 2006.)

what kind of dog is it? are you guys considering another lab? :) Two are definitely a handful!! (before I was married, I lived with my two sisters and our THREE dogs)

She is a lab mix, but I would prefer to get a smaller dog. I really want a beagle mix.

From what I heard, Michael Jackson has a catalog of 100-some odd songs that will eventually be released to take care of his debt, so I imagine that over the next couple of decades, there are going to be at least ten albums coming from him, death be damned.

Yeah...that's what I heard too. I'm sure there is a crapton of stuff that was meant to go on previous albums that never did, plus some extra.

Geez...I'm still trying to go through his body of work that DID get released. There is so much more than I was even aware of.
