Twice as fortunate

What does it mean when you get two fortunes in one fortune cookie? Is that a good sign?

I just finished lunch. I was out at the post office and I stopped at Himitsu Teriyaki to grab takeout.

When I bit into my fortune cookie, two fortunes were sticking out.

"You'll accomplish more later if you have a little fun this weekend."

and

"Remember one month from this date. Good things are coming!"

I mean, it's not like they really mean anything at all, but given the week I've been having, they add a little needed frivolity.

Completely random thought - but I'm wondering why a bunch of local news personalities have recently started following me on Twitter. I have a few followers from channel 5 and one from channel 7 as of today. Really, my tweets are not that interesting. In general, I don't think I'm all that interesting. I'm flattered, but mystified.

It sounds like you really need those good fortunes to come true. :) I'll ask you in a month if anything good happened on that day.

Btw, I've been getting local news reporters following me on twitter as well. The only thing I can think of is that my photography is peaking their interest (I have my flickr linked to Twitter). Maybe they've seen your blogs and like what they've seen? :)

I have my travel blog linked to Twitter. If they like it, great! I'm trying to build more traffic to that blog.

My tweets are generally all over the place. I've noticed that a lot of people tweet about one topic. I don't. It's just random crap that pops into my head most of the time.

Reece needs her own Twitter. =)

HAHAHA. She would post a bunch of stupid stuff on it like "Mommy is boring. I want to play squeaky chicken and she keeps telling me to go away."
