Since I think there's a good possibility that I can start classes next week, I would really like to order my books today.

One of the required texts is this:
http://www.amazon.com/Reporting-Technical-Information-late-Kenneth/dp/0195178793/ref=dp_ob_title_bk#noop

Does anyone know where I might be able to get it cheaper? Are there any good used textbook websites I should consider?

ETA: It's the cheapest on chegg.com because I can rent it and then send it back...but what if I want to keep it?

I know chegg has an option to buy at the end but I never take it so I don't know how much that is. I always check around on amazon, half.com etc, google the book title plus "international version" to see if thats available (ISBN number won't work bc they're different) and look on craigs list too. :)

Oh - and see if that college has a group on facebook - theres a facebook textbook group for UCF and I found one cheap on there.

I pretty much checked all those options and amazon seems to be the way to go if I want to buy it.

$50 for a used textbook though...ugh. It's $76 brand new.

But I suppose I can't complain. The tuition is free.

bigwords.com has some cheaper options than Amazon but their cheapest is Chegg as well.

you could try and enter the ISBN into http://www.cheap-textbooks.com
the site compares prices from a lot of places

half dot com is usally a good one and sometimes barnes and noble is cheaper. I alternate between those 2 for my ultrasound books.
