For [livejournal.com profile] spunti - a list of websites that ship APO. Others can put more websites in comments. Go ahead and put this in your memories. ;)

amazon.com (most items)
bn.com
bamm.com (Books a Million - access through Centric Mall at aafes.com)
zappos.com (shoes)
payless.com
kohls.com (clothing, housewares, cosmetics)
jcpenney.com
sears.com
target.com (only certain items)
landsend.com
walmart.com
kmart.com
overstock.com (only items that are indicated by the APO/FPO symbol)
bedbathandbeyond.com
yankeecandle.com
victoriassecret.com
thepopcornfactory.com (will ship gift baskets APO)
swisscolony.com (gourmet food gifts)
lillianvernon.com (gifts and housewares)
joann.com (craft supplies and fabric)

That's all I can think of off the top of my head at the moment. Most websites will not ship electronics, but Lance has had luck at newegg.com.

Also, you should be able to find consultants for pretty much everything: Avon, Mary Kay, Party Lite, Pampered Chef, Stampin' Up, Creative Memories, etc. Ask around to find out who the local consultant is, or go to the company's website and they'll search for you.

Okay, my other friends at APO addresses, if you have any I haven't listed here, comment away! Websites for maternity and baby would probably be most helpful.

And I'm leaving this post public, in case others might find it useful.

www.oconus.com has a pretty intensive listing along with user ratings of each online store. They've got all the websites sorted by category.

Thanks. I wasn't aware of that.

I've had luck having stuff shipped by using New York in the state area when they don't have the APO option. As long as they ship to PO Boxes, this usually works.

mypleasure.com ships apo too ;)

I know some of these are on your list already, but my best luck with maternity stuff has been oldnavy.com, gap.com, target.com, and jcpenney.com.

baby stuff I haven't tried to get shipped yet (waiting for my shower gifts to come so I can see what I need), but babies 'r us is run through the amazon website now, so I'm guessing that should be a good one.

How could I have forgotten oldnavy.com? I order stuff from them quite often, and at least their shipping is one price.
