The Apocalypse is Nigh

Unbelievable! Michigan is getting their asses handed to them again!

It's almost halftime, and Oregon is ahead 32-7.

I'm gobsmacked. Michigan has always been good...a Big Ten powerhouse. What's happening to them?

As a Buckeye fan, I am filled with maniacal glee.

But it's not over yet. They have the entire second half to rebound.

Anyway, I don't think I'll be able to stay up to keep tabs on this train wreck, so if I wake up to find that the Wolverines lost again, I'll feel free to cackle about it tomorrow.

The Buckeyes won, by the way. But we played the Akron Zips, so I doubt it'll affect our position in the polls much.

ETA (Sept. 9): 39-7...OUCH! I almost feel too sorry for them to laugh. The sports writer for the Columbus Dispatch has a point...the OSU/Michigan game is at its best when both teams come into the game undefeated. And while I can't say for sure that OSU will be undefeated when that time rolls around, they have, thus far, been spared humiliation.

That must've put a smile on your face last week. That game put them on the map.

Apparently, Ohio retailers are now stocking App. State merchandise. Seems Buckeye fans have recently become big fans of the Mountaineers. ;)

Unless, like me, you just want to see Michigan get whomped on.

I admit...it's fun to watch. But they could just decide to fire Lloyd Carr once and for all, and find someone who can, God forbid, actually out-coach Mr. Sweater Vest.
