Oh Noes!

Season 1 of The Tudors ends on Saturday night, and since I don't have Showtime, I won't be able to watch season 2 when it premieres at the end of March.

Whatever shall I do?

I became hooked on this show from episode 1. I wish I could order Showtime just so I could watch it. But that would be ridiculous. Wouldn't it?

Erm. I have a solution, but I'd rather not post it in a public post. I'll probably post it in your last locked post. ;)

If you have a solution, I'm game to hear it. ;) The Tudors is like crack to me now. And I have no idea why...it's not historically accurate. It's more like soft-core porn with 16th century costumes. But god help me, I'm addicted.

It would probably be cheaper to get Netflix and just wait until the season is out on dvd. :-/ Delayed gratification isn't fun though.

I really don't think I can wait that long...must. get. my. fix.

I don't know, how much would Showtime be for you? I looked it up on their website and it seems to be aroun $11/month for most places plus they have some kind of cash back special going on. They have some other interesting shows in their program so I'd say go for it.

They have a $25 rebate. But of course, the hubs would have to approve of us getting Showtime, and he's a basic cable kind of guy. I don't think he would go for it. Not unless I manage to find employment in the next few weeks to help pay for it.

Well, just tell him that you'd really like to get it. It's not like it's a major investment, it's $11/month, that's 3 coffees at Starbucks or a lunch at a restaurant.

We still have showtime JUST for The Tudors. We're anxiously awaiting March 30th, because there is NOTHING worth watching on T.V., save for ghost hunters and mythbusters. *shrug*

Ah...so you understand my obsession with this show. Right now, I get it for free on DirecTV channel 101, but it's a cleaned up version. I hope they show season 2 eventually, but I assume it will be sometime next year. I can't wait that long!
