Lance is on his way to McChord, if not there already. Promotion test today.

If everyone could send some positive thoughts his way, I would appreciate it! We could really use the raise! And getting a promotion wouldn't be bad for him either. ;)

ETA: Part one of the test is done. He called me to tell me that he thought he kicked ass on it. ;) Part two is about to start, but that's the hardest part of the test.

Aaron didn't make the SFC/E7 (no idea what that is in Air Force lingo) list this year, there was only a very slim chance but I guess we both had hoped that he'd get promoted again. The extra money is always nice!

Oh ok, the Army doesn't have test for E7. They have some sort of comission that looks at your records and decides who gets a slot and who has to wait another year. Aaron was missing some time in a certain position and he thinks that was why he didn't get picked up.

3-4 months, I think. At least I remember it being about that long the last time he tested for a promotion.
