What a difference 24 hours makes

Background check is in.

I start tomorrow.

They would've let me take the rest of the week off and start on Monday, but they mentioned wanting to send me to school (in Rochester) on April 28th, and so the sooner I can start training, the better. I'm supposed to have 4 weeks of training prior to going there, so I'll already be 3 days behind.

Better pack a lunch, iron my dress pants, and stop freaking the hell out.

More nerve-wracking than exciting right now. I didn't think I was starting until next week at the earliest and the week after that at the latest. So I'm feeling very rushed right now.

But it's a good thing, I guess. I was just whining in my last post about how I didn't have enough to do to make Lance's deployment go by faster.
