Major Accomplishment

I managed to give Reece a bath last night all by myself.

It's no small feat, considering that she's a very energetic and squirmy 40 pound puppy (I'm guesstimating) and I'm a rather small person with a chronically sore back and stiff and sore shoulders and neck.

Of course, I may not be able to manage so well in the next few months as she gets bigger.

I came out of the bathroom soaked from head to toe. Reece came out soaked from head to toe. The tub was filled with fur. The bathroom floor was full of puddles.

But it's done. And she no longer stinks (she peed on the floor at day camp the other day and rolled in it).

You sound like me, that happens to me everytime I give my two dogs a bath.

I don't know if you have a massaging shower head or not, but if you don't, you should pick one up at Home Depot.

You spend $20-$30 on the shower head with a 6 or 7 foot hose, take about 10 minutes to attach it (with plumbing tape for a good seal), and it becomes INSTANTLY easier to wash dogs (and cats actually).
