Anyway...this post isn't entirely gratuitous. I just got back from getting my hair done. My new stylist was good. Will still take some getting used to, though. I'm trying to change up my style a bit from what I had before and she happily obliged. I have some shorter layers I'm trying to grow out, so she cut the length shorter so that all my layers would be close to the same length.

Other bits...

Lance called DirecTV to lodge a complaint about the sports package he's paying for and the big black screen of doom he keeps getting on the channels that are supposedly part of that package. So to appease us, they are giving us 3 months of Showtime for free. It meant nothing to Lance, but I did a little happy dance about getting to see The Tudors. Of course, I checked the schedule and there are currently no episodes airing. Dammit. Hopefully they will within the next 3 months.

Nasty storm headed our way. I need to get off here soon and take a shower and then spend some time with the Olympics and my paper journal.

What I love about DirectTV is how they are always willing to make it up to you when they screw up. They are a very compliant company. I've never had a problem with them that they weren't willing to fix and make it up to me.

I was thinking the exact same thing! But Henry felt no remorse, and in fact, got engaged to Jane Seymour the very next day. So I don't think we'll be seeing her again.

I liked Catherine of Aragon too. I'm afraid the remaining seasons will be really boring. None of Henry's other wives were all that interesting.

Maybe that will give us some more time to see Henry Cavill naked. There wasn't much of him in the 2nd season.
