Home Depot came back for a 2nd consultation. We have an odd-shaped window - known as an eyebrow window - and until today, the sales rep. didn't think they would be able to replace it. But they can, and they will, for an additional $2200 tacked onto the quote we got yesterday.

*cries*

I can only console myself by finishing small projects that needed doing. Lance and I hung up our Brugge paintings that we purchased on our honeymoon. We have two over the fireplace and two on the wall the divides the dining area from the den. I would've liked to keep them altogether as a grouping, but the pictures are just too large to hang 4 of them together in this house.

The guest room is ready. Just need to vacuum in there tomorrow.

One more day at work, and then a 5 day weekend. And today wasn't a bad day at work at all...I thought it would be busy, but it wasn't nearly as busy as I thought it would be. My schedule isn't bad tomorrow either.

My parents get here in a little less than 26 hours. So excited!!!!!

Tomorrow after work: vacuum, mop, clean kitchen, food prep, chill wine.

Oh wow, that really sucks about the windows! I know it's only consolation but at least your energy bill will go down and you will probably able to get some of that money back when you sell the house.

ugh! I would definitely consider getting a second opinion from a smaller place - just in case. They *probably* can't match HD pricing, but might need your business more and be willing to negotiate.

Have a wonderful time with your family!!!
