Blah

Well, Heath Ledger's death certainly put my crappy day into perspective yesterday. And it made my day worse, of course, since I love him. Lance had no idea and he came home late from work yesterday. He called me as he was about to leave, and I told him why I've been having a bad day.

I had to hang up quickly because our land line phone was ringing.

Anyway, he came home. He was very sweet. When I laid down around 8:30 to try and sleep, I told him that I needed him to stay with me for awhile. He was watching Mad Money with Jim Cramer and I find that show to be kind of loud and obnoxious, but I let him watch it in our room. He kept the volume down and he laid next to me in bed and stroked my face a little while I snuggled under the covers. As I was getting more and more relaxed, he left me alone, and I fell into a deep sleep.

So I am much better rested this morning, but I also woke up with a sore throat. I just had some lemon tea, so we'll see what happens. I may have to stop at Walgreens on the way home from work and get some throat drops. But if I get sick and can't finish my temp job...oh, what a shame. :P

Anyway, I better get going. I'm allowed to go in at 6 this morning instead of 5 like yesterday, but I still have to pack a breakfast.

RICOLA!!! *giggle*

I have to admit, even though I'm not such a big fan of Heath Ledger, his death did put a bit of a damper on my day, too. Its always sad when someone dies. Its like there's this cosmic fog of depression that lays over everything.

That is really sweet of Lance! Aaron made a stupid and inappropriate joke, I could have slapped him!

And now we're watching some dumb movie that has Kate Mara in it :-(
