So...I got off at 2 to vote. It's unpaid time, but a small price to pay to perform my patriotic duty.

And now, it's barely 3, and I've voted.

It was a good time to go. I was worried that if I got off at 5, there would be huge lines. There was no line for me. I got right in. I was given the choice of paper or electronic voting (paper...ALWAYS paper). Ten to fifteen minutes later, I was out the door and on my merry way.

So now I have 2 extra hours to do with as I please.

And it's quiet. Lance is out mowing the lawn. Reece is in doggie daycamp. I am actually relaxing.

I thought Washington was mail in voting. I mailed mine a week and a half ago. I didn't know some places were still poll voting in this state. I really like going to the polls to vote it seems more real.

I think the entire state is going mail-in vote as of next year. Fine with me. I don't mind doing that instead.
