prosodicI won't even talk about all the ways today went wrong. It was a pure disaster in almost every aspect. I've been in a surly mood for a great deal of the day.
I will talk about 2 good things:
#1 - new microwave has been ordered! No more late 80's dinosaur nuke that gets food blast furnace hot around the edges and keeps it icy cold in the center! It comes on Monday and Lance and I will attempt to install it ourselves.
#2 - today's Secret Santa gift was Apple Streusel muffin mix. Perfect Christmas morning breakfast. Although I think Lance will want cinnamon rolls, so I can make the muffins this weekend for breakfast instead.
We're supposed to get between 1-6 inches of snow tonight and the roads in our neighborhood are already treacherous. If it must snow, it better snow so damn hard that I won't be able to leave my house tomorrow. Lance is already planning on a snow day for himself. Unfortunately, I don't think I have that option unless I absolutely cannot get my car out of the driveway. And considering how bad it is right now, that could very well be a possibility.
