prosodicWe have fire! And there was no huge ball of flame roaring out of the fireplace when Lance lit it.
And I'm sitting here in front of the fireplace right now. I'm getting ready to take care of some scholarly things online. I have my last 2 online courses and an assessment to take.
I channeled my inner Betty Crocker earlier. Made some Pillsbury French bread. Although that didn't really take any effort. Made some apple streusel muffins for tomorrow's breakfast. Some Fantasy fudge. And you know, the more I eat that fudge, the less I like it. But it's just more for Lance. That's the only fudge recipe he'll let me make.
Most of the household drudgery that requires electricity has been taken care of. The vacuum has been run. Laundry is in progress. We are just now doing our 2nd load of dishes today (between the baking and dinner, I dirtied up a lot.)
I'm chilling another bottle of wine. Polished off the one I opened last night.
Pretty soon, I'll open that, and just sit here by the fire, watching the snow pile up against the back door.
