Junk Food and Wii
Jan. 25th, 2009 09:38 pmSunday afternoon/evening was all about junk food and Wii.
We went to Rich and Kathy's (didn't take Reece this time...she's like a bull in a china shop whenever we're at their house, and as much as they love her too, she's too much of a handful when we want to relax).
Hung out and played Wii. I tried their new Rock Band game, as a guitarist. Pretty good at it too. Guess I am my father's daughter after all (he played guitar in a rock band when he was younger). Most of the evening was spent playing Cooking Mama: Cook Off. As I suspected, Lance is better at that game than I am. I'm hilariously bad at it, since I keep burning everything. It's a strangely addictive game though.
But I more than make up for that in the fighting games. I open a can of whoop-ass. We didn't play anything like that this evening though.
When dinner time rolled around, we didn't really eat dinner. We just had snacks. Total junk food extravaganza! And I brought chocolate chip brownies too.
It was a good night. We came home and Reece knew immediately where we had been. She could smell it all over us. I think she was a little upset that she was left behind.
Anyway, I need to get ready for bed. I have a busy day tomorrow.
