The Curse of Being Practical

prosodicMy bonus is enough money to buy a new camera. A new camera is something I've been wanting for awhile, since my current digital camera was purchased nearly 4 years ago, and has seen better days.
A new camera isn't necessarily a luxury item for me. When I was freelance writing, I found it critical to my writing. The photography that I submitted with my writing was nearly as important as the writing itself. Back then, a camera would've been a business expense.
Now, it seems more frivolous, even though photography is something I take pretty seriously. I think I need the money in my savings account more.
I think the camera will have to wait for now.
