This new paint sample dried pale pink.

*sigh*

Why is it so difficult to find a true brown/tan color?

My bedroom is painted with Benjamin Moore's Cappuccino. Not sure if that's the brown you're going for, but I love it.

Could it be the people that are mixing your paint? If they're not drying to match the sample card, I'd suspect that something is wrong.

It was the same guy who mixed both samples. The 2nd one that we just tried *could* be right. Some of those paler colors have undertones that can't be seen on the color card. The 1st color we tried looked nothing like the color card though.

I think I'll be playing it safe and sticking with antique white.
