prosodicEarlier today, I was texting back and forth with my friend Maggie from the Paychex branch in Chicago. We both share the same feelings about our jobs.
But anyway...she asked me how things have been going on the job front, and I told her that it's been one big karmic bitchslap, and I don't know what I did to deserve it.
Then I thought...karmic bitchslap? Is that not a cool name for a rock band?
So I texted Maggie and asked if she would be in my band. She proclaimed her lack of musical talent (hey, I don't have any either). I told her that it doesn't necessarily take talent to be a big rock star...look at some of the crap they play on the radio now. She had to agree with me.
So yeah...Karmic Bitchslap. Y'all wanna be our groupies?
Hey, I have to have some amusement to help me get through the day.
