I called off work today. I had a rough night last night. I went to bed early - 8:30 - but Reece woke me up a couple of times and one of those times, I called Lance and got his voicemail. Then he called me back as I was falling back asleep.

On top of that, I had these horrible waves of nausea and my back still hurts...very badly.

The nausea is now gone, but the back pain is still around. I can't sit at a cubicle all day or it will get worse. I need to try and move as much as I can to keep as limber as I can. So I probably shouldn't go back to bed, even though I took a muscle relaxer.

Reece is at Petsmart. I'm no good to her if I can't get her some exercise. She's better off there and I'm relieved of the burden of having to take care of her today when every movement is painful. Just getting in and out of the car - and getting her in and out of the car - was a challenge.

But I won't let today go to waste. Gives me a good chance to apply for some freelance work.

i bet you already know this but you need to get in charge. you cant have reece be in control of you like that. sure, she is only a year old but have you tried crating her over night? Finn has been in his crate over night since day 1 and there were nights when he cried and barked but i only corrected him without letting him out and he went back to sleep. And Bandit just goes to bed whenever I go to bed (she sleeps on a pillow on the floor) and wont get up till I get up. Its hard exercising dogs when you work full time... but you cant have reece wake you up every night just because she's bored.

I hope you feel better soon. Backpain is horrible, especially if you have a 'sitting down' job

She didn't get me up because she was bored. She actually had to go potty. She generally has to go twice per night. I think she has a bladder the size of a pea.
