prosodicThe forecasters have been predicting rain and possible thundershowers today. I see absolutely no evidence of either. I fell asleep on the couch (the muscle relaxer I'm taking makes me drowsy) and when I woke up, there was bright sunshine and it was in the low 50's. It's gorgeous out. Unfortunately, I can only enjoy it from my window.
I'm not really in any pain right now, but the muscle relaxer makes me very limp. That's not necessarily a pleasant feeling either, but at least the pain is managed.
So...I was watching CNN's coverage of the building collapse in Cologne. Apparently, it's due to a subway tunnel that was being constructed underneath the street. I had no idea that they were even planning a subway in Cologne. I guess it's a good thing this didn't happen last week when they were having all the carnival festivities, or it might have ended up being much more tragic. As it is, I think something like 9 people are missing.
