It took me well over an hour to do the first entry, since I had to play around with the database and figure out how it worked.

But by gosh...I think I've got it! I've been sitting here happily working away for nearly 2 hours. Reece finally got fed up with being shut out of the bedroom and scratched and cried at the door. I let her in and she's now lying on the bed next to me while I work. She's quite peaceful, so she's not bothering me at all.

Hello again, writing. I've missed you.

it took me a long time at the beginning too but now, I average about 20 mins/title. Once you get a hang of all the drop down menus and everything, it goes by quickly.

Yeah...the second title went much faster than the first.

Oooh...this is cool! I can do the maximum of 80 each week in under 40 hours. So it would be even less than full-time and I would make more per hour than I do now, if I can do 20 minutes a title like you do. How sweet would that be?

And it sounds like this is going to be long-term work. I was told there should be more work available in June.

Yay! I'm happy for you. I hope it continues to work out!

Is it something you can share? I'd love to read what you're writing!

I can't share this. I think the book database is private for now. Not sure if it'll be made public at some point or not.

I'm just writing short book summaries though...nothing terribly creative.

oh yeah, this is definitely long-term. I started end of January and then they said about 6 months, but in the email I got recently about changes and pretty much begging for more writers, they seem to be a bit behind deadline so I imagine it might even go through the summer.

I hope for longer, since I plan to leave my job. I guess I should ask the editors how long they think this work is going to last.
