May. 3rd, 2009 06:28 pmI had a coupon for some of that chicken that already comes marinaded (Foster Farms Savory Servings). I don't generally buy that, because I like to control what's on the chicken, whether it's seasoning or marinade. But every once in awhile, I'll get a $1 off coupon for the marinaded stuff, so I get that, since it ends up being cheaper than the plain chicken.
Anyway, I picked the Island Teriyaki flavor. They recommend grilling it, but Lance was working on organizing the office and I didn't feel like firing up the outdoor grill, so I made it in a grill pan on the stove.
Oh my God. It was sooooooooooooo good. I made Uncle Ben's Roasted Chicken & Herb Long Grain and Wild Rice with it, and some mixed veggies. Good dinner.
I think I may get that chicken again. We had three really large chicken breast fillets and the two of us split one, so we still have plenty left over. Good for at least one more meal this week.
