Insomnia Strikes Again
May. 9th, 2009 06:04 amHere it is, 6 am on a Saturday morning, and I'm wide awake. Have been for about an hour. It probably has to do with the daylight streaming into our bedroom through the skylight (we still haven't found a good way to block this, and can't really afford to replace the current skylight with one that has a built-in blind). It probably also has to do with the fact that both Lance and the dog were snoring.
But anyway, I have a ton of things I need to do today. I have 5 more titles I would like to complete today for the BNA project - which would get me to my 15 minimum for the week. It's been a busy week otherwise, so it's been hard to sit down and get more than one or two done at any given time.
It's actually going to be sunny and dry today, so I would like to get started on planting stuff in the empty flower bed out back. Which means a trip to the nursery. Lance has to get a cable for his weed whacker anyway, so I think we'll just go to McLendon's. They supposedly have the best nursery in Kent and I think they're having a flower sale this weekend anyway, plus we get a military discount there.
I need to do some cleaning inside the house too. And some laundry.
Farlis wanted to get together this afternoon at the Green River Trail to walk the dogs. And Reece needs that, so I need to do that.
And I was hoping to take a movie over to Kathy's tonight, along with some chocolate chip muffins. But I guess that depends on if she's feeling up to having company.
So I have a busy day ahead...kind of want to get to it, but I'm also still tired, so I kind of want to crawl back into bed.
