I think she'll be ok. Pilling her will be a challenge, I think, but we tried some Pill Pockets at the vet and she loved those. So maybe she'll be ok with taking the pills. We shall see.

Yay, Reece! To get Sophie to take pills, I smear it in peanut butter. Works like a charm. Of course, Sophie LOVES peanut butter. Maybe Reece doesn't? Anyhow, glad she's going to be ok.

Reece loves peanut butter, but we've tried that trick before. It worked a couple times, but then she licked off all the peanut butter and spit out the pill.

She seems to like the pill pockets pretty well so far.

I was putting Layla's pills in a gob of peanut butter and she was gulping them down so fast she never noticed there was a pill even involved. Those pill pockets worked really well for the cats - and they're horrible at taking pills.

I forget how enormous she is until I see her in perspective like this. Long tall Sally.

It appears she's no worse for the wear. We lucked out with Sadie + pills. She eats them like they're candy.

If you look at her as a Lab, she's really rather small (she weighs 50 pounds). I think it's the length of her...her long legs and her long, lean body, that make her seem so big. She's just really sleek and skinny.
