prosodicI got an email from Ruth today, wishing me a happy birthday. She had it marked on her calendar for the 12th, which she wasn't sure was accurate, but she knew it was close to the 12th, anyway.
As always, her email was witty, funny and charming, just like her. I love her way with words.
She ended her email on this note, which I will always cherish:
"I think it was George Bernard Shaw who said: 'Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.' So here's to a year of creation."
Indeed, Ruth. Here's to a year of creation. I hope it's the best one yet.
