We finally have blinds in our living room windows!

They've been naked for months. We took down the nasty old honeycomb shades when the new windows were installed in November. We haven't had anything in the windows since.

Lance ordered faux wood blinds. They are really nice. And it's finally nice not to have full sun in our living room.

While he installed those today, I painted the front door and the door frame. I don't think I did a really good job though. Steel is harder to paint than drywall.

Wow...why am I having so much trouble typing? I only had 2 glasses of chardonnay. And that was awhile ago.

Been watching old MJ videos on YouTube...reliving my childhood basically. I was talking to Mom yesterday and we were talking about it and I told her that I distinctly remember the day Dad brought home the Thriller album and how excited my brothers and I were because it was the first real album we had as kids. We had all those stupid kiddie records - Disney stuff and the like. This was the first grown-up album we ever had. I remember that very vividly.

I forgot how good this music is. Wow. Why do I not have any of it now?

I had actually been thinking about downloading some of his music the other week. And now he's all over the iTunes hitlists!

I really don't like that we have to keep our living room Rolladen shut most of the day because of the sun. We have bamboo blinds but they don't do much. I hate not being able to see outside!

I think I only have "Billie Jean" because my Dad burned it on a CD to play at our wedding reception.

But that is my favorite MJ song anyway.
