Honestly, I've never given a lot of thought to dog toy safety. We don't buy cheap toys, particularly since Reece is a heavy chewer and tends to destroy things quickly. We buy the really rugged, spendy toys that can withstand heavy chewing. I guess it never really occurred to me that they could be toxic.
