Halloween

No trick or treaters. No parties. No costumes.

On the 31st, I'll keep all the lights off. Light candles. Put on the Peanuts Halloween special and anything else that suits my fancy, and relax with a bottle of wine and snacks.

Because that will be the day that my document design class is finally over (our projects are due on the 28th, but we have 2 peer reviews due on the 31st) and I will have a much more manageable schedule going forward. I intend to celebrate.

I'm not going to schedule two simultaneous 15 credit hour classes again. That was madness.

I can't believe you are finishing up your classes. Seems like you just started.

Well, they were 5 week classes. My tech writing class was 3 hours every Thursday night for 5 weeks. My document design class was online for 5 weeks, but there wasn't 3 hours of lectures every week, so she compensated with lots of readings and assignments.

I still have a long way to go to finish the certificate program, but I know now that it's stupid to take 2 classes at once. Way too much work. I'll just do one at a time from now on.
