Ugh.

I slept poorly last night and woke up this morning with a monster headache.

Let the fun begin!

It's likely to be an icy drive into Seattle this morning. I just hope I manage to miss the bulk of rush hour traffic.

I had 2 Advils, so I'm just waiting for those to kick in. And I'm hoping it gets a little warmer before I leave in a little over an hour. I saw footage of the commute yesterday and well...it wasn't pretty. But I think WDOT probably got salt trucks out this morning, if they were needed.

Seattle, here I come! I will probably have pictures and stuff this evening, if there isn't any more pressing matter to attend to.

Today was very badly needed. I feel so relaxed now, and I'm not the ball of stress I was even just this morning.

I got home shortly before 5. My Washington license plates are in! Woohoo! My amazon.com order also arrived, so I have something good to read again.

Made a quick dinner of pasta alfredo with ham (yummy, but I was still pretty full from all the tasty goodness we had in Seattle today) and I think I'll be getting in my pajamas soon and just chilling out for a bit. A glass of wine would not be amiss, but I have none chilled at the moment.

Oh...Ruth gave me such a fun present. A photo mousepad of the 4 of us at Cafe Madrid! I'll save it for my desk at work (when I get a job).
