I finally made tasty pork chops tonight for the first time EVER.

I've made fantastic pork roast, tasty and succulent pork tenderloin...and I seem to do fine with all other pork products. But pork chops have always stumped me. No matter how much I follow a recipe, they always come out dry and stringy (this even happened in the crockpot once...how bad is that that pork chops came out dry IN A CROCKPOT?).

But tonight...yum! I had boneless loin chops, which I breaded with Italian-seasoned bread crumbs and parmesan cheese and then cooked on a skillet. I think they were done in less than 10 minutes and I served them with butter & herb mashed potatoes and peas. So good! Lance still smothered his in Heinz 57, however. I didn't think it needed anything. But old habits die hard, I guess.

I think I'll be headed off to bed here shortly. Every muscle in my body aches right now. I took an hour nap earlier...Lance woke me up when he came home from work. This temp job is leaving me exhausted and sore everyday. And I have paper cuts all over my hands too, which is charming.

When the temp agency called me earlier to ask me how the job was going, I replied, "it's a job." No other comment. I think that gets the point across.

I have a longer post that I've been wanting to write, but I've been too tired. Emotionally and physically.

What is with all the random emails I've been getting, soliciting me to sell life insurance for some local company or whatever?

What about my resume suggests that I would be remotely interested in such a thing?
