About dogs...

It's Friday!!

Something that makes me happy - today is Reece's first day of school! We start her puppy class at Petsmart tonight! She's actually too old for the puppy class, but they're letting her in because she's small enough. Although by the time it ends, she'll probably be at least twice as large as the other dogs.

Something that makes me laugh - everyday at lunch, there is a guy in a hot dog costume dancing his ass off in front of a strip mall that has a hot dog shop in it. He never fails to make me laugh. And on rainy days, he holds an umbrella over himself, which makes it even more hilarious.

It's the little things.

What will make me really happy - getting my car back today. It's scheduled to be finished today and I worked an extra hour yesterday so I could leave an hour early today. So it better be done.

RIP Lambie-Doodle

Reece's favorite toy (the one we bought her on our first day with her when we all went to Petsmart) suffered a sudden, violent death yesterday.

Sure, she had already tortured it by chewing off all its limbs. The poor thing was just a body and four little stubs.

Last night, I came out of the shower to find Reece on the floor in a pool of stuffing and plastic parts.

It took me awhile to figure out where it came from.

She chewed a hole in Lambie-Doodle's ass and pulled out half his stuffing and all the parts to his squeaker. Some parts may have been ingested. Only time will tell.

Anyway, Lance and I unceremoniously dumped Lambie-Doodle in the trash can. Reece was watching, very sad because she felt that she wasn't yet done with her toy.

I suppose we could get another one for her tonight. But this one didn't even last 5 weeks.
