Lance spent a good deal of time last night taking down blinds and moving furniture that was blocking the windows.

Reece is all confusion. Especially after he disassembled her crate and put it in the garage. She didn't sleep well last night, so neither did we.

Lance is taking down the bedroom blinds right now. This house feels naked...I feel exposed.

But it'll be worth it in the end. We'll have windows that will leak neither air nor water. The house should start feeling warmer. I won't have to walk around here in multiple layers, wrapped up in multiple blankets.

I just hope they finish this job in 2 days. I don't want them hanging around here installing windows while the football game is on Saturday. And by football, I mean OHIO STATE VERSUS MICHIGAN. The biggest game all year. At the Shoe. So it's VERY IMPORTANT that I get to watch this game.

In other news, Lance's office Christmas party is December 5th. Which is a Friday. And it's at McChord. So I get off work at 5. I have to fight traffic getting home. And then we have to drive down to McChord in God only knows what kind of traffic. We'll probably miss a good deal of it by the time we get there.

More then half the windows are installed now. Bedroom and living room, which is almost the entire back of the house, with the exception of the sliding door. I had hoped they would do the back rooms first. Those are the worst windows. So happy that they did.

The new windows look fantastic, but the smell of the cleaners they used afterwards is giving me a headache.

Lance is now rehanging the bedroom blinds. They're going to look really nasty now, but the new windows pretty much make the entire house look dingy anyway.

Very excited to see the rest of the windows when I come home tomorrow. And right now, I am sitting in the living room. Not wearing layers. Not wrapped in blankets. Not even wearing socks. And I'm totally comfortable. Wow. It's absolutely amazing.

Lance ordered pizza after the window guys left. It took almost an hour and a half to be delivered, which was completely ridiculous. Our pizza was cold by the time we got it. This week has been almost total fail in terms of customer service.

Tomorrow I have to do training after our morning meeting. I spent a good chunk of time this afternoon putting the materials together. The basic theme of my training is time management, which is something that will become even more critical as we head into the year-end chaos.

Sigga's birthday is Saturday, so Teresa and I are taking her to Baja Fresh tomorrow for lunch. I've never been there.

So that's been Thursday in my world. I'm just trying to wind down now...hoping to get a good night's sleep tonight. The windows cut down on the noise pollution too, which is great.
