(no subject)

I've not had a great day.

My stomach has been bothering me all day. It got worse after an eggnog latte. I guess I should have thought better of it, but I had a lot of time to kill after dropping Reece off at Petsmart, and I had a Starbucks gift card. And I needed a caffeine boost.

At least I had a light day at work. My busiest time was between 11 & 2, and I wasn't at work. Instead, I took a little PTO so I could take Lance to the airport. And we could afford to be leisurely about it. We intended to stop at IHOP for lunch on the way to the airport, but the IHOP was closed. They were painting inside.

So we drove further down the road to Denny's and had lunch there. Breakfast for lunch, in fact. Both of us ordered Moons Over my Hammy with hashbrowns.

Not helpful to my stomach, really, but I could've ordered something far worse.

Lance was at the airport and I was back in the vicinity of work by 1:00. But I still had an hour. So I ran a few errands: picked up some stamps, filled up the tank, stopped at Staples for some odds and ends.

Back into work at 2. The afternoon was fairly uneventful and quiet.

Now Reece and I are home and Lance is in Vegas. I'm preheating the toaster oven to make a couple whole wheat rolls. I'm heating up a can of Chunky beef vegetable soup for dinner. I plan for it to be a quiet evening.

(no subject)

I am done with the bulk of my holiday cards! I can send them out tomorrow.

I am missing the addresses of a couple of cousins, but they never send me cards anyway, so it's not that big of a deal. I'll probably stop sending cards next year to people who no longer send me cards. I buy too many cards and postage is just getting too expensive.

Oh...I just remembered, I have one more card I need to address!
