So I took this quiz for fun...

Apparently, being an office worker in the 21st century is the equivalent of being a peasant farmer during the Tudor era. I would've smelled worse than my pigs, and fortunately, I would only have about 5 more years to endure my miserable existence.

Lance, is, at least, a knight. Good to know I married above my station.

ETA: Had I taken this quiz as a grad student, I would've been a prostitute. Apparently, being a poor academic is equivalent to being a woman of ill repute.

I better enjoy this weekend, since I'll only have enough free time for sleeping this coming week. Lots of overtime in my future. It's the only way I'm going to get everything done. I'm so far behind.

Sondra and I went to lunch today. Teriyaki. I left for lunch a bit too late, so no time to order the bibimbap, which is what I really wanted (it took awhile for me to get it when I ordered it last time, and the restaurant wasn't busy). I just ordered teriyaki chicken, gyoza and rice. Still good, but not amazing.

Afterwards, Sondra treated me to Starbucks. I tried their new Tazo tea latte - the London Fog. I was kind of eh about it. I might try their Vanilla Rooibos next time, and if that's disappointing I'll give up.

Today's theme at work was bacon and mocktails. The supervisors cooked bacon for us in the morning. It was weird having just bacon. I can't just have bacon, apparently. I need to have eggs with it or eat it in a sandwich or something. The mocktails were in the afternoon, and with the crowd in the lunch room, you'd swear they had alcohol. Wishful thinking. My mocktail was strawberry margarita mix with some Sprite, on the rocks. Tasted like party punch.

Anyway, those are the only updates I have, sorry to say. Still on pins and needles...waiting for news. Going to try not to think about it over the weekend.

My non-work life these days pretty much revolves around The Tudors and sleep.

How sad am I?
