Mar. 4th, 2009 06:29 pmOMG...I just had the best baked potato EVER. Quick and easy too, because I nuked the potato instead of actually oven baking it, so it took less than 20 minutes.
As the potato was nuking, I sauteed some sliced button mushrooms in butter. When they were done, I sprinkled them with pepper and added a wedge of Laughing Cow garlic and herb spread, letting it melt into the mushrooms.
When the potato was done, I split it open, sprinkled with salt and pepper, sprinkled with shredded cheddar, topped with the mushrooms, and topped with french fried onions.
Sooooooooooooooo good. I didn't even miss the sour cream.

Nothing really new going on. I was back at work today, although I'm still in pain. But I'm out of sick time. Today was slow enough where I could get some things done, so that was good. A lot of tedious little things were dealt with.
Reece has been so good this week. I stopped at Hollywood Video on the way home, with her in the car, and as far as I know, she didn't have a complete freak out. She just waited patiently for me to come back. I was only inside for a few minutes.
So...this weekend, I'll be watching The Duchess and P.S., I Love You. And because I'm a total sucker, I bought into their special deal - for an additional $2, I got a king size candy, a bag of microwave popcorn, and a bottle of soda. The candy itself was $1.79, so it really wasn't a bad deal. I'll just save the popcorn and candy for when Lance is here to watch movies with me.
