Jul. 5th, 2009 02:49 pmThe weather is finally improving here...according to the weatherman, we haven't had a beginning of July this chilly since 1972. Sweet. :P But it's warm and finally pleasant enough to be outside without long sleeves.
Nothing much going on today. Tomorrow we're going to the Hocking Hills. Today is kind of a restful day and a chance to get some stuff done that needed doing (going through stuff I have here in storage, etc.).
Friday I went to campus with my brother and shopped at some Buckeye-themed stores. I picked up a long-sleeve t-shirt on clearance. Was looking for a hoodie, but didn't find one. We drove around campus for a bit and reminisced about our days at Ohio State...then headed back home. Went to Findlay a short time later to hang out with Grandma, Sue and Zoe.
Yesterday was the reunion. The only really exciting bit about that is that Lance and I went canoeing. He almost tipped us over. We also had breakfast with Dad yesterday at Panera Bread. Drove back to Columbus last night.
Went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast this morning. Did a bit of shopping. I'm doing laundry now and we're going to sit out on the patio with some snacks and drinks. Rob will be barbecuing steaks later on.
Checked Petsmart to see how Reece is doing and she's doing very well. Boarding doesn't seem to phase her at all.
Been offered another writing contract. That makes 2 now. Things are starting to look up! Will have a lot to do when I get back since I can't get much work done here.
Right, so I'm off to hang out with the family. Haven't been keeping up on the friends list, so if anything earth shattering has been going on, please let me know.
