School the World Panama

Hey friends,

I will post an update later. I just didn’t want this to get lost in a larger post. 

I plan to join a small team of my co-workers on a corporate service trip to Panama in March. IvyWise is a sponsor of School the World, and we have a team that travels each year to Latin America to build a school in an impoverished community. 

IvyWise is covering my travel expenses. However, I am raising money to fund the building of the school, teacher training, library books, school supplies, etc.

I will, of course, share the full details and photos of this trip once I return. I will have more details here in a couple of weeks as to the itinerary, the vaccinations that are required, etc. But this is something I feel strongly compelled to do and I’ve never visited that part of the world before. It will be hard work, but I look at it as an adventure.
