An Icebear and his blankie
Oct. 13th, 2007 08:31 pmI know there are some fellow Knut fans on my FL. The video on his most recent blog entry is really cute. Knut is settling down for a nap with his security blanket. Awwwwwww!
I can't believe he's almost a year old!

I am probably going to bed here soon. I am aware that it's not even 9 pm. But I'm really THAT tired. Today has felt like a very long day, and the lack of sleep lately has really started to take a toll on me.
In addition to organizing things around the house, we walked to the landlord's place to deliver the letter of rent termination. We had a conversation with him that involved him speaking German and us trying to respond to what we thought he was saying in a combination of English and German. I won't miss that. Of course, our lack of understanding is completely our fault. That's what we get for not having learned enough German. But our landlords are understanding and speak slowly and repeat themselves often, and between the two of us, we can usually figure out what is being said. Of course, we still need to speak with our landlord's son, the actual owner of the house (his parents handle most everything), and he does speak English. I suppose there are some loose ends to tie up before we leave.
In other news, Ohio State is putting a severe beat down on Kent State right now, in a game that makes absolutely no sense at all. Why are they playing Kent State? And why now? They're now pretty much in the mid-season. They usually take care of all the easy teams in the first few games each year.
