Mt. Rainier didn't happen today. We were given the impression by our agent that we might be needed around the office today, so we drove around our neighborhood and learned our way around. Turns out he didn't really need us after all. We stopped in to sign a form that didn't have to be signed. But otherwise, we have had the whole day free.

Still no Sale Pending sign on the house, which makes me scratch my head. I was told that one would be put on today. However, the online listing is STI (Subject to Inspection), which makes me giggle.

We went to Home Depot today. Not an interesting place until you own a house. Oh my God...the countertops! The tiles! The paint! The appliances! *swoon*

Also found a great Italian restaurant today...we happened by Paolo's around lunchtime, so we stopped in. Yum. The lemon cheesecake was also totally to die for.

We have to stop by the police department to get a neighborhood crime report and then I don't know what we're doing...perhaps going to the movies. We'll try Mt. Rainier tomorrow.

You'll find lots of good food in the Seattle suburbs. Try the Rainforest Cafe and Bahama Breeze, both at Westfeild Shoppingtown in Tukwila 16 miles south of Seattle on I-5, , and the Cheesecake Factory in Bellevue. I hope you enjoy Mt. Rainier. I've only been there once in the summer.
