I slept poorly last night and woke up this morning with a monster headache.

Let the fun begin!

It's likely to be an icy drive into Seattle this morning. I just hope I manage to miss the bulk of rush hour traffic.

I had 2 Advils, so I'm just waiting for those to kick in. And I'm hoping it gets a little warmer before I leave in a little over an hour. I saw footage of the commute yesterday and well...it wasn't pretty. But I think WDOT probably got salt trucks out this morning, if they were needed.

Seattle, here I come! I will probably have pictures and stuff this evening, if there isn't any more pressing matter to attend to.

Eep! Be careful if you're on the east side, especially.

Aaron is working from home for the second day in a row because its so icy. But we live on a hill, and its mostly the hills and back roads that are really bad.

I'm driving to the south side. Around Lake Washington...not far from Beacon Hill, from how it looks on the map.

I'll still be careful though. Believe me. New car. Yikes.

They don't use salt out here on the west coast. It rusts the cars. They use gravel.
